Mock elections were held at Hoover High School in Canton, Ohio on October 31st. During October social sciences students were involved in campaigning and organizing these student elections. The state's majority of inhabitants chose Barack Obama as president of the United States of America. Find out if Hoover students felt the same.

When it’s up to the citizens of Canton, Ohio Barack Obama wins the elections. EénVandaag held its own elections with the local population. 57 percent favours  Obama, 43 percent votes for John McCain. In the survey, we asked the citizens of Canton their opinions on a few important American electoral issues. In general there was more support for Obama’s plans than McCain’s.
